How does your process work?
As soon as we receive your enquiry we will look at which tent sizes and configurations could work best for your requirements. We’ll be in touch to see if you need any other equipment from us such as flooring, lighting, furniture or heating. Once we have established your requirements we can provide a detailed floor plan and an initial quote. Once we have made any amends and you are happy with the plans we will send you an invoice for the deposit. Payment of the deposit will secure your booking with us. The invoice balance will be due one month before the set up date. We can offer a site visit at any point during this process to ensure that there are no issues with the space and to discuss your plans in further detail.
Can you help me plan the set up?
We will work with you to look at all aspects of your event and create a bespoke floor plan for you that can be referred to during the lead up and on the day. We will also liaise with all suppliers to ensure everything runs smoothly.
Are your plans bespoke?
We have a range of floor plans that work excellently for regular set-ups but will always offer a bespoke plan to suit your individual requirements. Extras you may need can include furniture, bars, staging and dance floors and, if the tent is part of a larger site, we are happy to help create a plan for the whole area.
Do you deal with tent decoration and other wedding suppliers as well?
Initially our focus will be on creating a beautiful blank canvas that can be decorated by yourselves, your contacts or one of our trusted decor suppliers. Decor and floristry can be attached between poles or using the rope safety lines that run around the edges of the tents. See our recommended suppliers page for all other aspects of your event and we will be happy to put you in touch with anyone to meet your needs.
Our event is in a tight space – will you be able to help?
We have a wide range of tent sizes and our team have overcome numerous tight spaces and location obstacles in the past. If it looks complicated we would suggest a site visit at the earliest opportunity but we’re confident we will have a solution.
What if it is windy?
Our tents are installed to the highest standards and we always make last minute changes to the configuration to ensure everyone is sheltered from any high winds. We also have a wind management plan which will be shared with you upon booking. If extremely high winds are expected we will discuss the procedure and at which point the tent(s) should be evacuated.
Can I have a stage with a band/DJ?
We often provide small stages for bands and DJs. If you require a large stage for big bands or other entertainment we can source staging from one of trusted AV/Staging companies.
How many people can you accommodate?
Our tents can be attached together using a water-tight gutter system which means there is no real limit to the number of people we could accommodate however our tents are generally used for functions of up to 500 guests.
How long does it take for the set up and take down?
This really depends on the size of the tent(s) and other equipment hired.
For example a 15x10m stretch tent with matting and lighting might take 2-3 hours to set up and 1.5 hours to take down whereas a 20x15m stretch tent with matting, dance floor and lighting might take 4-5 hours to set up and 2.5 hours to take down. Let us know what you are looking to hire and our sales team will be able to give you a realistic estimate for your set up and take down times.
Can you put a tent on hard ground?
Most of our tents are set up on grass lawns but we occasionally use water weights and in some cases concrete blocks to fix a tent. Our skilled team can install eye-bolt fixings into solid walls and brickwork if required but we would be able to establish whether this is necessary during your site visit.
Do you provide tables and chairs?
We have a selection of wooden furniture which we use for weddings and parties. If you require something more formal please look at our recommended banqueting companies on our suppliers page.
I’d like a party in the winter, will it be cold?
The adaptability of stretch tents allows us to put on events and parties all year round. With internal heating and side walls we can certainly create a space suitable for winter events.
